    Hey,
Yesterday the connection between edo and tablet faltered.
    Today I can’t connect anymore.
Does anyone know what I can do?
Is there a reset button somewhere?

    Hi Harry,
let’s try to solve the problem.
First of all turn off eDo, wait 30 seconds and then turn the robot back on. When you turn on eDo, the tablet can detect e.DO Wi-Fi.
Can the tablet detect eDo Wi-Fi?
Have you recently updated e.DO to the latest version of the software?
What is the blinking rate of the yellow leds on the print circuit board of the joints? Are they synchronous?

    Best regards

    Hello Keymaster, Thank you.
    My observations
-stop and after 10 seconds off no edo-wifi in my wifi list on the tablet
    -last version is 2.3.0
-all yellow lights in the joints flash simultaneously for 2 seconds and 2 seconds off
-the light from the printed circuit board behind the cover in the base is red.

    Ok Harry,
In standard condition when all works:
-the led of the Raspberry is fixed red.
-the red PCB near the Raspberry has two led: one has to blink red with 1 Hz (the same rate of the joints led) and the other yellow with a faster frequency (this led provides information about the firmware inside this PCB).

Whenever the led of the joints are blinking lower than 1Hz, it means that the joints cannot receive the signal from the PCB near the Raspberry.

If the led of the Red PCB near the Raspberry is off, the Raspberry does not send any commands.

The problem could be related to the sd card inside the raspberry or the red PCB near the Raspberry. (For instance the content of the sd card has been erased, the sd card has not been correctly inserted otherwise in the worst situation the PCB is burned).

    The solution consist in:
    1)
    – switching off the e.DO
    – inserting correctly the sd inside the Raspberry
    – swtching on again the e.DO

    If it does not work:
    – switching off the e.DO
    – extracting the sd
    – flashing the sd card with the last version and updating all the robot to the last version (both the Joints and the App on the tablet).
    – inserting correctly the sd card inside the Raspberry
    – switching on again e.DO

In the worst case, if it does not work and the red PCB is still off. It means that there is an hardware problem and the solution consist in changing the red PCB.

we await your news, if you have some problems write us

    – inserting correctly the sd card inside the Raspberry
    – switching on again e.DO

In the worst case, if it does not work and the red PCB is still off. It means that there is an hardware problem and the solution consist in changing the red PCB.
