e.DO – as other 6 axis robots- was not available in the Plant Simulation SW used by Comau and Comau customers like Audi, BMW, Daimler, Opel, Porsche.
This Project was therefore initiated to implement the e.DO 6 axis robot in Plant Simulation software
Plant Simulation does not have 3D 6 axis robots with a detailed kinematic. In the past, the necessary control was therefore developed and implemented in the Simulation SW for standard 6 axis industrial robots including Comau hollow wrist. When e.DO was published last year, e.DO geometry was restructured and added to Plant Simulation and the developed 6 axis control adapted to run the e.DO Robot as a mandatory basis for further investigations and developments in the areas of e.DO… and Plant Simulation
